Dates and Times:
Produce is only available immediately after we have harvested an experimental trial such that our hours of operations is limited to specific dates and times. A sign is posted at the entrance to our farm showing what produce is available. U-Pick, farm tours, and kid's agricultural research activities are available by appointment. DeMilia Research LLC, Computer Solutions for Agriculture and Science, is a family owned and operated small business that develops web based computer software applications for agricultural pest management. We also conduct agricultural research field, greenhouse, and laboratory experiments for the development, testing, and validation of our software. Agricultural researchers, farmers, and home gardeners in particular will find the tools and resources on our main website (www.demiliaresearch.com) to be indispensable.
DeMilia Research Farm, Family Farm for Agricultural Research, is our 14-acre family farm that serves as a center for agricultural research. Details of all of our agricultural experiments can be found on our farm website (www.demiliaresearchfarm.com). Harvested produce from our agricultural research plots can be purchased by visiting us. No worries about exactly what you are eating. No need to decypher cryptic label codes. All of our produce is sorted according to the experimental treatment and you can read for yourself the application schedule details of every pesticide (synthetic or organic), fertilizer, chemical, or other treatment applied to it.
Special Services:
Visitors are welcome to our farm to purchase produce and see our agricultural research field experiments. U-Pick, farm tours, kids field scouting activities, and guided agricultural research field plot walks are available by appointment.
