As a participant in the local food movement and buy local initiative, Farm Fresh MarketPlace is focused on providing fresh local fruits, vegetables, and other healthy food staples. Community involvement is an important part of Farm Fresh MarketPlace beliefs. Our name was even chosen from ideas submitted by family, friends, and community residents.
Farm Fresh MarketPlace works diligently in three areas: (1) improving marketing opportunities for local farmers by offering the freshest, locally grown affordable natural, organic, and eco-grown produce available, (2) coordinating food and agriculture policy, (3) educating children and adults about the importance of supporting local agriculture and knowing where their food comes from, and (4) furthers understanding of the links between farming, food, health and local economies.
